We gladly accept gently used, clean, and functional furniture, including:

You’re always welcome to bring your donations directly to one of our three Furniture Bank Resale Outlet locations.
Furniture Drop-Off
- Furniture drop-offs are FREE
- Assistance is available Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Please call or text 713-232-9665 before arriving so our team can assist with unloading quickly.
Mattress & Foundation Drop-Off
To help support our Mattress Recycling Program:
- $25 donation per mattress
- $25 donation per foundation (box spring)
These fees help cover recycling costs while supporting The Furniture Bank’s mission and sustainability efforts.

Every chair, bed, sofa, and dining table has the power to create a fresh start for a Houston family.
The Furniture Bank is a nonprofit agency that provides furniture and mattresses to families in need through a network of more than 150 social service partner agencies. When you donate furniture, you’re doing more than clearing space in your home, you’re helping furnish hope for families rebuilding after homelessness, domestic violence, disasters, medical hardships, and other life-changing events.
- 1. Connect with us: Reach out to schedule a donation pickup. Complete our online donation request and upload photos of your furniture. Our team reviews your submission and contacts you to schedule pickup if your items qualify.
- 2. Prepare your items: Get your gently used furniture ready for donation. Our professional pickup crew arrives, loads your furniture, and your donation immediately begins helping Houston families.
- 3. Make an impact: Your donation supports families in our community. At least a $65 suggested donation per pickup visit helps offset transportation costs, including trucks, fuel, and delivery teams, allowing us to continue serving families throughout the Greater Houston area.
